Ten years ago, I got married the traditional, semi-arranged way. My ex came to my home, asked for my hand, and after a few meetings we were married.
There was no strategy. It just happened. I didn’t even have to leave my house. A decade later, I was single again and suddenly navigating a completely different world. So I downloaded the marriage apps. Within months, I was burnt out, confused, and blaming the apps. But through healing and reflection, I realised something important. The apps weren’t the problem. My energy and strategy were. I tried learning from well-known Muslim coaches, but their advice didn’t match the reality of being a practising Muslim woman today.
I didn’t need “just have confidence.” I needed a halal, modern approach that actually worked. So I became the guide I was looking for. I studied modern courtship, aligned it with Islamic values, and built a system that helped me speak my truth softly, set feminine boundaries, and let my triggers teach me instead of shutting me down. Confidence came from practice, not theory. From showing up even when it felt scary. From letting myself be seen. I did all of this as a single mum, full-time dentist, and postgraduate student. If I can do it, you can too.
Once I learned the Halal Magnetic Feminine approach, everything shifted. I now spend less than thirty minutes a day on apps and receive weekly marriage meeting requests from practising, emotionally mature men who pursue with intention.
